NYCN Hails CAC, Minister for Resolving Leadership Crisis

The Forum of 36 State Chairmen plus FCT-Abuja of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has commended the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and the Honourable Minister for Youth Development for their patriotic intervention and transformational leadership.

The NYCN Forum, comprising all state chapters including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, expressed its appreciation in a communiqué issued at the end of their strategic consultation meeting held in Abuja. They lauded the CAC for demonstrating a deep sense of responsibility, patriotism, and institutional integrity in protecting the sanctity of the NYCN.
The Forum specifically commended the Registrar, Ishaq Hussaini Magaji SAN, for his courageous, transparent, and impartial intervention aimed at resolving the protracted leadership crisis that has hindered the smooth functioning of the Council.
The NYCN Chairmen also expressed profound appreciation to the Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Hon. Wisdom Ayodele, for his dedicated service, visionary leadership, and commitment to transforming youth development activities in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Forum described the Minister’s efforts as “a breath of fresh air” and a reflection of the renewed vigor being injected into youth affairs across the country. They emphasized that youth remain central to national progress, stressing the importance of unity, discipline, and constructive participation in nation-building.
The NYCN Forum pledged its unwavering loyalty and partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and other relevant institutions to achieve a stronger and more impactful youth movement in Nigeria, while urging Nigerian youths to support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Forum of 36 State Chairmen of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) — comprising all state chapters including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja — has commended and pass vote of confidence to the Registrar. Ishaq Hussaini Magaji SAN. For his courageous, transparent, and impartial intervention aimed at resolving the protracted leadership crisis that has hindered the smooth functioning of the Council.
In a communiqué issued at the end of their strategic consultation meeting held in Abuja, the Forum lauded the CAC for demonstrating a deep sense of responsibility, patriotism, and institutional integrity in protecting the sanctity of the NYCN — the foremost youth body recognized by the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Chairmen further expressed profound appreciation to the Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Hon. Wisdom Ayodele, for his dedicated service, visionary leadership, and commitment to transforming youth development activities in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. They described the Minister’s efforts as “a breath of fresh air” and a reflection of the renewed vigor being injected into youth affairs across the country. Speaking on behalf of the Forum the Chairman of chairmen, Comr. Adigun Ibrahim who also serves as the NYCN Chairman, Lagos State Chapter, commended both the CAC and the Honourable Minister for their unwavering pursuit of peace, inclusiveness, and good governance within the Council.
“We sincerely appreciate the Corporate Affairs Commission for its timely and patriotic intervention in restoring order and legitimacy to the NYCN. Equally, we commend the Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Hon. Wisdom Ayodele, for his focused leadership and transformative vision that are redefining youth engagement and empowerment nationwide,” he stated.
The Forum emphasized that youth remain central to national progress, stressing the importance of unity, discipline, and constructive participation in nation-building. Furthermore, the Forum called on Nigerian youths across all regions to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a comprehensive and people-centered vision that will soon yield tangible benefits for young people through innovation, employment, and national inclusion. “We urge all Nigerian youths to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which is already laying a solid foundation for inclusive growth and sustainable development. The President’s determination to empower young Nigerians will soon make us all proud.
The Forum reaffirmed its collective resolve to continue promoting peace, unity, and purposeful leadership within the National Youth Council of Nigeria, while partnering with the Federal Government to advance the cause of Nigerian youth both locally and globally.
