Dembo Distributes Ramadan Parliatives to 17 Wards

The Executive Chairman of Toro Local Government Area, Pharmacist Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo, has officially flagged off the distribution of Ramadan palliatives and wrappers to residents across the 17 wards of Toro LGA. The event marks a significant effort by the local government to support vulnerable households during the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement signed and made available to newsmen by his Farouq Abdulrazaq, SSA New Media to the Executive Chairman of Toro Local Government Area, the Ramadan palliatives were received as part of the humanitarian intervention of His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, Kauran Bauchi, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State. The statement highlighted the governor's commitment to the welfare of the people and his dedication to ensuring that citizens feel the impact of government support, especially during important religious periods.

The initiative is aimed at providing food assistance and relief materials to citizens, particularly during this sacred period when Muslims observe fasting and engage in acts of charity and compassion. The distribution exercise reflects the governor's compassionate leadership and is expected to bring relief to many families in Toro LGA.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairman, during the flag-off ceremony, Hon Umar Adamu Danyaro Geji, Deputy Chairman Toro LGA, expressed profound appreciation to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his consistent commitment to the welfare of the people. He noted that the distribution exercise is a testament to the governor's dedication to the people of Bauchi State.

Hon Geji assured that the distribution would be carried out transparently across all 17 wards of Toro LGA, ensuring that the intended beneficiaries, especially the less privileged and vulnerable members of the community, receive the support. He urged beneficiaries to continue praying for the peace, unity, and prosperity of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large during the holy month.
