Yola Rally: PBAT Door-to-Door Movement Begins Push for Tinubu’s Second Term

Adamawa-The North-East Zonal Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Comrade Zakari Hashim, CNS, on Wednesday gathered thousands of youths, women groups, and stakeholders in Yola, Adamawa State, for a grand solidarity rally marking the official commencement of the campaign for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, second term mandate.  

The rally, held under the theme of unity, continuity, and renewed hope, signaled the zone’s full readiness to mobilize massively for the President and the APC in the 2027 general elections. Participants from across the six North-East states trooped out in their numbers, displaying banners, placards, and party colors in a show of loyalty and support for the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The event brought together high-ranking government officials, party leaders, and community stakeholders. The solidarity rally and walk commenced from Ribadu Square and moved through major streets to the Government House, Yola.  
In attendance were the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Prof. Kaletapwa G. Farauta, the Secretary to the Government of Adamawa State, the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, the State APC Chairman, and Comrade Salihu Mustapha, former APC Vice Chairman North-East and now the Adamawa Central Senatorial Candidate. Their presence underscored the importance of the rally and the broad-based support for President Tinubu across the region.

In their separate remarks, speakers at the rally applauded President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his bold reforms, economic policies, and commitment to national development.  
They also commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State for his leadership and developmental strides in the state. 

The speakers noted that both leaders have demonstrated capacity to transform the nation and the state, and urged citizens to sustain their support to ensure continuity of progressive governance at the federal and state levels.

The gathering also had in attendance all National Assembly and State Assembly candidates from Adamawa State, as well as the six State Coordinators of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement from Bauchi, Yobe, Adamawa, Borno, Taraba, and Gombe States.  


Other dignitaries included the Executive Chairman of Yaro in Taraba State, party executives, traditional title holders, youth leaders, women group representatives, and other well-meaning stakeholders who converged to lend their voices to the call for continuity in 2027.

Comrade Zakari Hashim, CNS, in his address, appreciated the massive turnout and described it as proof of the people’s belief in President Tinubu’s leadership.  
He charged coordinators across the North-East to intensify door-to-door mobilization, voter education, and grassroots engagement to ensure that the Renewed Hope message reaches every household. He reaffirmed the Movement’s target of delivering 20 million votes for President Tinubu, emphasizing that unity, peace, and disciplined campaigning will be key to achieving the goal.

The rally further demonstrated the capacity of the North-East Zonal Coordinator to mobilize youths and women of such magnitude for a common cause.  


The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, North-East Zone, concluded the event with prayers for God’s guidance upon President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the APC leadership, and for peace, progress, and prosperity in Nigeria. Stakeholders pledged their continued solidarity and commitment to work tirelessly to ensure victory for the President and the party in 2027.
