2027: PBAT Door-to-Door Movement Engages Bauchi State APC State Working Committee

Bauchi- The leadership of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Bauchi State Chapter, has engaged the Bauchi State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections. The engagement was aimed at fostering closer collaboration between the movement and the party leadership, while exploring practical strategies for taking the message and achievements of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the people across Bauchi State.

The delegation, led by the Bauchi State Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Hon. Muhammad Auwal Adamu (Durbin Ajili, Fagachin Bula) alongside other state executives, visited the APC State Secretariat in Bauchi. In his remarks, the State Coordinator said the purpose of the visit was to formally intimate the party leadership of the movement’s readiness to partner with the APC State Working Committee and other relevant stakeholders towards achieving victory for the party at all levels. He emphasised that the movement is prepared to take its mobilisation efforts beyond political gatherings by reaching households, communities and grassroots constituencies across the state.

Comrade Muhammad Auwal Adamu further reaffirmed the commitment of the movement to work closely with party leaders, stakeholders and grassroots structures in order to ensure that the message of President Tinubu’s leadership, policies and programmes reaches every doorstep in Bauchi State. He noted that effective political mobilisation requires consistency, accessibility and direct engagement with the people, assuring the APC leadership that the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement would deploy its structures and networks towards building stronger support for the President and the APC. He also reiterated the loyalty of the members to the party, particularly as former aspirant who, despite not emerging victorious in their respective contests, have remained committed to the ideals and development of the APC.

In a separate remark, the North-East Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Comrade Zakari Hashim CNS, assured the Bauchi State APC leadership of the movement’s determination to fulfil its nationwide mobilisation mandate. He stated that the core objective of the organisation is to mobilise 10 million votes nationwide in support of President Tinubu and the APC, while emphasising the importance of strengthening grassroots structures and maintaining direct contact with voters. 

He further explained that the movement, under the leadership and direction of its founder, High Chief Government Tompolo launched it Presidential Campaign and declared full support for the re-election of President Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in Yola currently with other geopolitical zones. 
He said, PBAT Door-to-Door is committed to building a formidable grassroots mobilisation network capable of contributing meaningfully to the success of the APC across the country.

Responding on behalf of the Bauchi State Working Committee, the Chairman of the Bauchi State APC, Alhaji Muhammad A. Tilde, appreciated the leadership of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for the visit and described the engagement as a welcome development. He assured the delegation that the party leadership would continue to work with groups and stakeholders whose activities are geared towards strengthening the APC and advancing its electoral prospects. He also promised that the movement would be carried along in relevant party activities and mobilisation efforts, stressing that victory requires unity, cooperation and the collective contribution of all committed members and support groups.

The engagement concluded with a renewed commitment by both the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement and the Bauchi State APC leadership to strengthen cooperation, grassroots mobilisation and voter engagement ahead of the 2027 elections. The APC Chairman described the party as the only credible alternative capable of sustaining and consolidating the gains currently being recorded under the administration of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

The movement, on its part, reaffirmed its determination to complement the efforts of the party through sustained door-to-door mobilisation, community engagement and advocacy, with the ultimate objective of securing victory for the APC and its candidates at all levels. The visit rounded up with presentations of branded campaigns materials from both ends.
