FULL TEXT OF THE APPEAL

A SINCERE APPEAL TO THE NATIONAL LEADER AND NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF THE ALLIED PEOPLES MOVEMENT (APM) FOR UNITY, FAIRNESS AND PEACE IN BAUCHI STATE

We wish to respectfully call on our revered National Leader, Senator Bala Mohammed, and the National Chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) to carefully reconsider the ongoing leadership tussle in Bauchi State and ensure that any decision taken is guided by wisdom, fairness, justice, and the overriding interest of our great party.

First and foremost, I sincerely appreciate Senator Bala Mohammed for his steadfast leadership, commitment, and continuous efforts toward moving the party forward. His dedication to strengthening the party and providing direction at this critical time is worthy of recognition and appreciation.

However, as we continue to build and strengthen our party, it is important that every sensitive issue, particularly the situation in Bauchi State, is handled with utmost caution, broad consultation, and a genuine spirit of reconciliation. We must avoid decisions that could create unnecessary division, weaken the confidence of our members, or undermine the unity we have worked so hard to establish.

The Bauchi State leadership issue deserves careful consideration, especially in view of the sacrifices and contributions made by party stakeholders who stood firm during the difficult period when the party had no government. Those who invested their time, resources, loyalty, and energy in building the party should be treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.

We must remember that the strength of APM lies in our collective commitment, mutual understanding, and ability to resolve disagreements through dialogue rather than confrontation. No matter the circumstances, the interest of the party must always take precedence over individual differences.

We therefore appeal to our National Leader and National Chairman to reconsider the Bauchi State situation with open minds and ensure that any final decision reflects justice, due process, and the need to preserve peace and unity within the party.

A party divided against itself cannot fully achieve its collective aspirations. Let us continue to build a party where loyalty is appreciated, justice is upheld, and every member feels valued and respected.

Once again, I commend Senator Bala Mohammed for his leadership and steadfastness in moving APM forward. I remain confident that, through his wisdom and the cooperation of the National Chairman, this matter can be resolved amicably in a way that strengthens our party rather than creating division.

Let us always remember: “An injury to one is an injury to all.” Protecting the dignity of our members and maintaining unity today will help secure a stronger and more united APM tomorrow.

Long live Senator Bala Mohammed!

Long live the National Chairman!
